Conversational recording projects are designed to capture natural, high-quality speech that sounds real, comfortable, and easy to understand. Your recordings help improve how AI listens, responds, and communicates in real-world situations.
As a Pila8 contributor, you may take part in guided conversations based on prompts, topic lists, or structured scenarios. Some sessions may feel casual and open-ended, while others may follow a more defined format. In every case, the goal is the same: to capture authentic, high-quality English speech that is useful for AI training workflows.

Requirements
English is required for all work on this page.
You should be comfortable speaking naturally in English during guided conversation tasks and responding clearly in real time when a workflow calls for it. This role is a strong fit for people who communicate well, listen actively, and can stay engaged while following clear instructions.

Equipment + recording environment
Use a phone or computer that can capture speech clearly and reliably. For longer sessions or partner-based workflows, headphones or a headset can help keep audio more consistent and reduce background distractions.
Your environment matters. Choose a quiet indoor space where people, televisions, appliances, traffic, or echo will not interrupt the conversation or reduce recording quality. Better recording conditions can improve approval rates and help you stay eligible for future projects.

Compensation
Estimated hourly rate: USD $10–$50/hour
